Thank your Favorite Store
I’ve read a lot of stories lately about how people have been treated by store employees when using coupons. It’s sad to say that many couponers know more about store policies than the employees do. Just today I read about someone being accused of stealing, while using coupons from the Sunday insert. She wasn’t even using internet printable coupons. A cop stood over her while she called the stores corporate office from inside the store. Corporate overheard the way the store manager was talking to her and assured her it would be dealt with and the District Manager would be calling her. Can you even imagine what that would feel like? You should never be made to feel belittled, or like a criminal. I’ll be the first one to boycott a store for making me feel this way. There is no reason for it. If I had a bad experience, I’d mail or call corporate immediately. If they don’t hear about things going wrong, how can they fix it? So here’s where I’m going with this. How many times have you been to your favorite store, redeemed coupons and had a pleasant experience? Do you frequent a store that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed with your coupons? Is there a store employee that you love to see when you walk in? I’d like to send out a request to all my readers. Call corporate, or if it’s easier, send a quick email and tell them about your favorite store or employee. Give credit where credit is due. It will only takes 5 minutes of your time and it might make a world of difference to an employee. Here are some quick links to save you even more time. Try to look up your store number, so you can include it on your email. Look on the website or check your receipt.
