I love the idea of reusing something and the idea of cleaning those broken ugly crayons out of the crayon box.. the result is a beautiful bonus.
Here’s what you’ll need:
broken crayons and one of those silicone muffin pans, I used the silicone ice tray I found in the dollar bin at Target.
Directions:
- peel old crayon pieces and break them up into smaller pieces if necessary.

- put the pieces into the silicone tray. It works better if you mix dark and lights.
- cook at 350 for 5-10 minutes.(I put my silicone trays on top of a baking sheet because they are flimsy and I didn’t want a melted crayon burn)
- take out and let cool.
- pop out of tray.
Aren’t they gorgeous? These will be a sweet addition to the paper valentines. And except for the $2 ice tray, FREE.
