I had a few strawberries and Sara Lee pound cake from the previous Publix sale, so I thought I’d make a nice dessert for the family. I splurged on a little Nutella, and we were ready to go.
Strawberry Nutella Dessert
Ingredients:
- strawberries
- pound cake
- nutella
Directions:
1) Slice the pound cake into 1/2″ slices and spread nutella on both pieces.
2) Slice strawberries in small flat pieces and place them on top of the Nutella spread.
3) Place other piece of pound cake with Nutella, on top of strawberries, forming a sandwich.
4) I placed mine on the George Foreman and grilled it for a minute or 2. If you use this method, hold foreman lid lightly so all the pressure does not make the strawberries ooze out.
