Stockpile Recipe – Hawaiian Toast

by Karen on October 22, 2010

My mom used to make Hawaiian toast when I was a kid and I loved it. I thought is was a fun dinner!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Slices of Bread
Butter
Pineapple
Ham
Cheddar Cheese

I had a few Dole pineapple fruit cups, my stockpile of cheese and the ham from Target.

I laid out several pieces of bread on a baking sheet and toasted them lightly.  Then I added a little butter.

I placed a few slices of ham on the toast.  Then I drained the juice out of the pineapple and place it on top of the ham.

Then add the cheese on top and toast till cheese is melted and ham and pineapple are warm.

These are so good and fun to eat!  Have you ever had them?  Give it a try.
