Remember the paper deal I did earlier in the week at Staples? Well I decided to go back for more so I could DONATE it to the school my kids attend. Here are the details:
Staples has a rebate going on right now for the Printing paper reams (Sku 554638). Right now they are on sale for $6.99 and the rebate is for $5.99 per ream. Buy as many as you want, there is no limit. Go here and do a search for the sku 554638, and you’ll be able to mail in the rebate or do it online. Staples also accepts competitor coupons, so find one or use this Office Depot one and it’s an even better deal. These were behind the Customer Service desk at my store. Others have reported seeing them on an end cap. The rebate paperwork also prints after your receipt.
This time I had 2- $20 off $100 Office Depot coupons. I intended to break this into 2 transactions but the fabulous people at Staples just did it all together for me.
Here’s the breakdown on what I did:
30 Reams @ $6.99 each = $209.70
-$40.00 off (2- $20 off $100 Office Depot Coupon -Must reach $200 before taxes)
+ 11.88 Taxes
= 181.58 OOP
What I’ll earn later on this transaction: +MIR = $179.70 (30 reams x $5.99) +Staples rewards = $16.97 (10% put back on my staples reward card to use later) +Upromise rewards = $1.82 (1% back for using my Upromise Credit Card to pay for it.) = Profit of $16.90 for 30 Reams of Paper!
Did I mention my daughter had a coughing fit while we were there, and the nice employee gave her a bottle of water right out of the stand at the register- for free! It’s wonderful to meet such nice folks!

oooh! I love an unbeatably good deal! I’m headed down there to get my stash tomorrow. I don’t have the loyalty cards you do, but I will definitely get 10X the $1 difference in the price offset by the $10 competitor coupon link
