Rice Krispy Treat Pumpkins Recipe

Rice Crispy Treat Pumpkins Recipe


3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10oz.) regular marshmallows
4 Cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal
Orange Food Coloring
12 bite size candies) Snickers, gum drops or other
Canned frosting (green)
1-2 small green gumdrops


In large pan melt butter over low heat and add marshmallows.  Stir until completely melted together.
Remove from heat and tine with orange food coloring.   Add rice crispies and stir till well coated with marshmallow mixture.

Get a circular 1/2 cup measuring cup coated in cooking spray to avoid sticking and divide cereal
mixuture into 12 portions.  Rub butter on your hands to avoid sticking and shape into pumpkin shapes around a piece of candy.  Decorate with gumdrop for stem and icing for vines.
