Rachel Ray did a whole show on Coupons the other day, and If I’d have known, I would have recorded it! You can go here and print some exclusive coupons from her website. Check out more information here on tips to help you save. Here are some things I found interesting:
- Each year, $400 billion worth of coupon savings are printed, yet less than 1% of those coupons are ever claimed.
- Finance expert Bill Rancic says “if you just spent 20-30 minutes a week collecting coupons, you could knock off $6,500 a year on what you spend on groceries, clothing, gas and dining out for your family.
There are also more tips from a “coupon expert”. I always like to stay on top of the tips and tricks in case there are any new ones I don’t know about! I like the one about not waiting till you need an item to buy it. This maybe the best thing I’ve learned about coupon shopping. Stockpiling when it’s on sale and you can match coupons will save you lots of $$!

I am definitely Stock Pile! This has been a tried and true technique for me for years but I am always learning new things
what was the site bill rancic mentioned you can plug in zip code for coupons?
Hi Sue,
I’m sorry I’m responding to this so late. I have been away from my computer this weekend. I did not see the episode so I’m not sure if he specifically mentioned a website. I can tell you that most of the coupon websites have you input your zip code now. Try Coupons.com, Redplum, Smartsource and Valpak. All of these have you insert a Zip Code. I hope this helps you.
Take Care,
Karen
