by Karen on January 7, 2011

Total Of Groceries before Sales & Coupons: $190.40
Savings: $145.34 or 76%
OOP (Out of Pocket): $45.06
47 Items means each one was under $1!

Download the Free Savings Worksheet to Track your monthly savings.

The Jacksonville, FL coupon class is Monday January 10th, 2011.

I had 2 $5 off $30 purchase Winn Dixie Coupons from the back of the Jaguar Tickets (Thanks Mom & Dad!)  I verified before I got to the register that if my total before coupons was over $60, could I use both and customer service said yes.

Here’s what I got:

12 Boxes Special K Cereal BOGO $3.99
– 6 B1G1 Free MFR Coupons
- 6 $1/2 Target Coupons
= ALL 12 Boxes Free + $6.00 Overage

4 Packages Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Sale $1.99 lb
= $17.40

4 Bags Tostitos BOGO $4.99
= $9.98

2 Nabisco Cookies 2/$5
- $1.50/2 Target Coupon
= 3.50

2 Gallons Milk $3.25
- 2 $1 off coupons when you buy Nabisco cookies
= $4.50 or 2.25 each

2 Kraft Cheese 16oz sale $3.99
- 2 .75¢ Target coupons
- 1 $1.00 MFR coupon
= $5.48

Bananas $.69lb
= $2.13

2 Pepperidge Farm Deli Flats BOGO $2.99
- 2 .50¢ MFR coupons
= $1.99

1 Loaf Bread $2.43

2 Batter Blaster BOGO $3.99
- 2 $1/1 MFR coupons
= $1.99

6 Yoplait Smoothies BOGO $3.19
- 6 $1/1 MFR coupons
= $3.57 for all 6

2 Peter Pan Peanut Butter BOGO $2.59
- 2 $1/2 Publix coupons
- 2 .50¢ MFR coupons
= FREE + .50¢ Overage

6 Lunchables 10/$10
- 3 $1/2 Target Coupons
= $3 or .50¢ each

1 Cottage Cheese Sale $2.01

Getting an overage on the Special K and the Peanut Butter is like getting the Bananas, bread and cottage cheese for free.   A great way to get a discount on items you don’t have a coupon for.

Here are the rest of the Publix Deals for week 1/6-1/15.

Here is a little video we did today

Coupon lingo can be found on the FAQ page.

I also have a video tutorial for the List Feature on the site.

That’s awesome! I love how the kids were involved (they really concentrated on picking the “best” cereal!) LOL!
They are adorable!

Have just started using coupons and ad matching. OOP $96.97 Saved $38.46! Our Publix wouldn’t let me use a competitor’s $5 off $50 or more AND their $50 off $30 or more. I could only use 1 or the other, otherwise savings would have been more!

Yeah Kiley, each store is different. Sometimes even WHO is working is different . That’s why I always ask before checking out. You might get lucky next time.

fyi… the batter blaster is excellant! It makes so many pancakes and they are light fluffy and delicious….the kids had fun making them too :)

Good to know Katie, we’ve never tired them but hubby said it would be great for our camping trips!

there are the Harvey’s coupons for $1 off 2 tostitos! I also had MF coupons for the lunchables that were printable, but I can’t find them now – they were $1 off one, so I made .50 per lunchable! This was my first really good week in a little while – getting back in the swing of things.

How did I miss those Tostitos Q’s? I agree it was nice to have a good week. I might even go back!
