I love trying to spread the word about my blog, but obviously I’m cheap frugal and I don’t want to spend a lot of money to do so. While visiting The Thrifty Mama yesterday, I learned about a new way to connect with other bloggers, so we can work together to spread the website love! If you’ll notice there’s a new widget on the left side of my site:
Once you create an account and upload a 125 x 125 photo or logo for your website, and get approved by the site moderators (this took under 1 hour for me), then you’ll be on your way. It works on a point system. You accumulate points by visiting other bloggers in the EntreCard community and click on the “Drop” box. Each time you do this, it earns you 1 point. You can use these points to advertise your website on other websites. The heart logo above is someone else’s website, and they paid points to advertise on my website. Click on the “E” on the widget to the left to learn more and get started. I’m still learning more about this so if you have been using this and want to share any tips, I’d love to hear them…..oh and “Drop” by your site!
