Well it’s a long Holiday weekend and home improvement stores want you to come in and spend money and get started on those projects. Both Home Depot & Lowe’s are offering a MIR on paint purchases. We did the Home Depot offer on this back on President’s Day and got both of our rebates pretty quickly. Here are the details:
Home Depot: Receive $5 off all BEHR gallon cans and $20 off all BEHR 5 gallon pails by mfr. mail-in rebate with the purchase of BEHR interior and exterior paints and primers, decorative finishes, waterproofers, stains and cleaners purchased between 5/21/09-5/25/09.
As a thank you to our Military, Home Depot is also offering 10% off, May 21st-May 27th for Military Personnel. Must present valid military ID at time of purchase.
Lowe’s: Valspar Paint Rebate -Purchase a qualifying One Gallon or Five Gallon container of Valspar Ultra Premium Interior or Exterior, Duramax Exterior, or Signature Interior Paint at a Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse between 5/20/09 and 5/25/09. Requests must be postmarked by 6/25/09.
Lowe’s is also offering a 10% Discount to Military personnel, May 20th – May 25th. Must show valid military id or other proof of service. Check here for more information (scroll to the bottom).
Don’t forget to take in your competitor coupons and ask if they will take them. Here is a $5 off $25 printable coupon you can try. I also find them in my local coupon magazine circulars (Mint or Money Pages). My Home Depot will take them all, because I’ve done it! Lowe’s on the other hand told me they will only take the Home Depot coupons as a competitor.
