One on of my Publix shopping trips, I got a great deal on pudding, so I stockpiled some. They were $1.50 a package and since there are 6 in a package, that makes them $.25 each! The kids have not been in the mood for regular pudding lately so I came up with a plan. I cut a slit in the top and stuck in a popsicle stick. Stuck them in the freezer overnight and viola, a pudding pop! The kids are loving them and I love that they’re not going to waste. To remove them from the plastic, just dip the cup in warm water, then wiggle the stick and it will come right out. A very frugal summer treat!

Homemade (sort of) Pudding Pops
Ingredients:
- popsicle sticks
- pre-packaged pudding containers
Directions:
- cut a slit into the top of the foil on a pudding container
- insert popsicle stick
- freeze overnight.
the containers can be reused to make many frozen treats, juice with or without chunks of fruit, yogurt, etc.. since you will be starting with an empty container, cover in foil.

Great idea! Handsome boy enjoying the treat.
Great idea! Sometimes, my kids aren’t fond of prepared pudding cups, but I know they would love these.
