Hang in there, my 8 year old/almost 9 is ok so far because we haven't run out of his waffles yet! Last night I made a quiche from scratch, crust and everything! Very proud of myself. Good deal :) We are doing the same here. My only resistance is my 9 yr old. Lots of whining from him. We are cutting out eating out, take out, & buying outside of necessities completely for the whole month. I know we are only a few days in but I am beyond pleased with myself so far and my family. We have all had a hand in the dinner making each night. This challenge is the best thing for my household in more ways than just the obvious. My only personal challenge in all this is time management. I am still working on in my mind what the reward will be in the end for the 4 of us when we make it. I have many ideas running through my head but none of them are screaming to be the prize yet. Sounds like things are going well for your family! Good deal :)
