This easy homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe will be a favorite in your household for the Fall. Pumpkin Spice Latte’s are one of my favorites this time of year. I love that Starbucks has started making them in early September. However, it can get expensive at nearly $5 a pop. So what’s a girl to do to fill that craving? Well, how about making it at home? Yup, that’s just what I’m doing and you can do it too.
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte
Coffee or Espresso (However you make it at home)
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 tsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Pumpkin Spice
2 TBSP Pumpkin Puree
Whip Cream topping
On the stove top or microwave, heat milk, heavy cream, vanilla, brown sugar, pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree and whisk together. Be careful not to over cook or burn.
We make our coffee with a Coffee Press and it comes out nice and rich, but you can make it any way you normally do. I add some sugar to my coffee because I like it sweet.
Once your coffee is made, pour in pumpkin cream mixture. This is where you’ll need to play with the coffee/cream ratio to determine what you like best.
Then add whip cream topping and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice or cinnamon. Whatever cream you have leftover you can place in refrigerator for later.
