(Pepper ~ Black puppy in red collar)
Most of you know we got a new Puppy a couple months ago. The dogs we’ve had in the past were not socialized as much as we would have liked and they didn’t have these cool dog parks around back then to help with that. For about a month now, we’ve been taking Pepper to Dog Wood Park off of JTB. The kids absolutely love getting exposed to all the dogs and playing with them and the dogs love the freedom. Pepper had definitely come out of her shell since we’ve been going. The park is not free, as they have expenses involved in maintaining it. But we got a 2 month membership to try it out.
It’s entirely fenced in and they have several different areas to explore. A small dog area, a wooded walking trail, and a huge large dog area with a lake for the dogs to play in)
I’m telling you all of this because there is a deal for Dogwood Park on Groupon right now for 56% off. It’s a nice way to try it out.
Choose Between Two Options
- $25 for five dog park visits (a $51.40 value)
- $45 for ten dog park visits (a $102.80 value)
This is Pepper on the car ride home. So tired she fell asleep sitting up and her head is slowly falling. Once we get home she sleeps for quite a while, allowing us to get some much needed stuff done! We will be hitting the dog park before our Thanksgiving trip out of town. Maybe she’ll sleep the whole way.
