UPDATE:Consumer Product Recalls – Nestle Cookie Dough & Zicam

by Karen on June 22, 2009

UPDATE: The news had a segment on the Nestle Cookie Dough recall this morning.  They said if you have any of these, to “throw them out”.  PLEASE DO NOT THROW THEM OUT!  Take them back to the store for a refund!  You do not need a receipt to take them back.  I just did this on Friday and did not have a problem.  I even returned a half eaten package.  Please do not throw your money in the trash.  The segment said the cookies are ok as long as they are cooked, but if you lick your fingers or get raw dough on a knife, it could contaminate other things.

Nestlé USA | Press ReleaseNestlé USA’s Baking Division is initiating a voluntary recall of Nestlé TOLL HOUSE refrigerated cookie dough products. Go here to learn more. We have 2 packages of these in my fridge right now.  Guess I’ll be taking those back asap.

Allergy Relief Gel Swabs | Zicam

Zicam cold remedy swabs, Zicam cold remedy nasal gel have also been recalled.  Check here for more information.

Thanks to Frugal Coupon Mom for the important information.
