Chocolate Banana Muffins~What I made so the bananas wouldn’t go to waste

by Karen on June 13, 2009

We had 4 bananas getting rather brown today so we needed a plan.  Hubby ate one, so I made chocolate banana muffins with the rest.  Ever since I made the blueberry muffins, I’ve been wanting to use my muffin pan again.  Maybe these wouldn’t come out as pretty, maybe it was just a fluke.  I had to test them again!  Oh these were not only easy to make, they were very good.  And yes they popped right out of the pan and looked beautiful.  Here’s how you make them.  First you need to set up your work area.  This includes your entertainment and the laptop with the recipe.  When you add the chocolate chips, and it doesn’t seem like enough, don’t be afraid to add MORE! :)

The original recipe had sprinkled hazelnuts on top.  I choose to leave these out, mostly because I didn’t have any on hand.  If you have not tried any of these easybakeware products go here and check them out.  You can get a free one every month.  I’ve gotten a square pan, muffin pan and I have a bundt pan on the way.

I have added a Recipe category on my site, so any recipes on my site will be easy to find.  Just go to the categories on the top left and hit the down arrow to expand the list.  I have also created a Home Decor category where you can find fabulous things like my frugal wall decor!  Happy Baking!
