Celebrating our 1st Birthday

It was one year ago today that Saving The Family Money went live and my first post went up.  I remember having under 10 readers.  My hubby and Mom & Dad included!  I am so excited to see the growth we’ve had since then.  I’ve learned so much about the blogging world and gained so much HTML knowledge. :)  I’ve met many wonderful people and enjoyed their savings success and excitement.  I would like to celebrate this day with all of my readers.  I’d love for everyone who reads this to leave a comment on this post.  Tell me about your favorite way to save money or share whatever you’d like.  Leave a simple :) if you don’t want to write anything.  I love comments and enjoy reading them.  Thank you for your support and encouragement and for making this blog so successful.  You are my motivation!

Congrats Karen! I wish I had the time to do a Public blog. For now I stick with my Live Journal. My hope is for you have continued success because I just can not imagine me not checking your blog everyday. :)

I don’t really have any savings tips because you and I are pretty much on the same page from the beginning already. I enjoy reading about your adventures in saving & great deals that work for my family too.

    Have a great day!

escapades in various establishments. Keep up the good work.

  • I am so proud of you that you not only work to save money for your family, but you have a heart in helping others as well. Many people are grateful for the time and energy that you put into teaching others as you go.

Congratulations! I’m so glad to see that you are enjoying saving money as much as I do. Aren’t you glad you finally caved and decided to give couponing a try!? Great job with your blog!

One of the ways I keep the grocery bill low is by waiting for items to go on sale, then using coupons, and stocking up! I am also a big fan of Lollipop Lane Children’s Consignment store to buy the boys’ clothing.
