I love that Florida is participating in the Tax Free school shopping weekend again. Florida dates include August 13-15, 2010. During the sales tax holiday, parents and students are not charged taxes on school supplies ($10 or less), clothing, books or footwear ($50 or less). These are per item, so you can buy $200 worth of clothing and not pay tax, but any single item can not exceed $50.

Georgia – 2010 Tax Free Holidays have been suspended for 2010 because the bills did not pass legislation.
Washington D.C. – Washington repealed their tax free holiday in 2009 and did not renew it for 2010.

Yeah, I’ll be on a boat in the Atlantic when Florida has theirs. Hubby promised me if we need anything I can run into the outlet on our way back home Sunday. “Run In?” Who just runs into an outlet mall.
