Apple Free Summer Classes For Kids

Update: Registration is now open! youth_camp20090520

We are an Apple family, no doubt about it. My son has been playing with a Mac laptop for years now. This is an excellent opportunity for him to learn new stuff and maybe teach Mom & Dad a few things (Kids under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent for the duration of the workshop). Here’s what the Website Says:

Lights. Camera. Camp. Nothing beats Apple Camp for a fun summer activity for your kids. This summer, kids ages 8-12 will learn the ins and outs of iMovie and how make a film in about the time it takes to watch one. The free workshop, held at the Apple Retail Store, spans three days and leads up to an Apple Camp Film Festival where campers debut their masterpieces.

Check out the Apple website now for a description of the 4 different workshops offered and sign up to attend. Apple offers youth workshops all year long, check them out here.
