About

Rodriguez Family

I’m a stay at home mom to an 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.  I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Child and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University.  Go Noles!  :)  When we had our son we made the decision that I would stay home with him full time.  I’ve performed several jobs from home to supplement our income.  I was an eBay PowerSeller and focused on two methods for income. I sold scrapbook items that I bought wholesale and sold items for clients who had no interest, skills or time to post the items themselves.  My husband and I are working on getting out of debt and staying out of debt. I’m happy to say after 3 years of couponing we are now out of debt!  Our long-term goal is to save enough money to take a year off and travel the world with our kids.  I have started this website to share what I learn and help you save money as well.  My hope is to allow the communication to flow both ways as we help each other find the deals to help our families save money.  I enjoy saving money on everyday things so we can “splurge” on the fun stuff!  I would love for you to leave comments. I link back to websites that serve as good resources, too, so let me know if you have websites of your own! Thanks for visiting :)

Please read my Honesty is the best Policy post for more information on how I feel about this website and how I chose to run it.

I live in the panhandle of FL and view many blogs on saving money. My issue is many of these sites are not in my region so therefore the inserts aren’t the same. I was hoping that you might tell me if you might be in my region so I could follow you and your scenarios.

Does your Publix double coupons? The only grocery store that doubles for us is Food World so I frequent them quit a bit. I’ll keep you on my top list. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you Kim! Most of our stores in Florida do not double! :)

I just made a post about the Kohl flip flops and said that we wear flops all year here in Florida. It made me wonder where you blog from ~ didn’t realize you were local! I’m in Fleming Island and graduated from FSU too! {’89~Way before you, judging by your lovely family pic!} No wonder I think you are so great ~ Go ‘Noles!

I am the grandmom who was behind you in the check out line Friday at Publix. I am super impressed with you and what you are doing, so much so in fact, that I sent your info to my family. I know that they will also send it on to their friends and I look forward to using your tips.
